honestly, sometimes i think about how random all of this was. we met in some completely random whatsapp group back in 2023, i helped you with a few chemistry mcqs, and that was supposed to be it. somehow, it wasn't. somewhere between random conversations, stupid jokes, disappearing and coming back, late replies, little updates, and all the nonsense we've talked about, you became someone i genuinely look forward to. it's kinda funny because we've never even sat next to each other, never randomly met somewhere, never shared the same room — and yet somehow you've become one of those people who just feels familiar. and somewhere along the way, Daina became Ana, and apparently i decided you also needed the completely unnecessary title of Dr Shb whenever i'm feeling a little too affectionate. i don't know what exactly made a random girl from a whatsapp group become one of my favorite people, but i'm really glad it happened. so here's to you, Ana. to another year, another chapter, and hopefully a lot more random conversations that neither of us planned on having. happy birthday, my favorite online person. ♡
